The newlywed Portia de Rossi expresses her happiness and contentment for having been married to Ally Mc Beal star Ellen de Generes.
The private ceremony was witnessed by their families in Los Angeles last year. In Entertainment Tonight, Portia de Rossia related the big change she encounters in her life just as she has settled down for good after dating partner Ellen for four years.According to Portia, "It is a very different way of being together," she said. "There is a peace to it and a sense of togetherness we didn't have before. I didn't realise it would change as much as it has, but it is so lovely."
The newlyweds tied the knots just as the Supreme Court of California legally allowed same-sex marriages.
De Generes and Portia share a lot of things in common. The couple are both animal lovers and now have resolved to be vegetarians for life.
