Randy Jackson on American Idol

Last night's American Idol highlight was that footage of Randy Jackson's Journey. Top host of Idol, Jackson, surprisingly played Bass guitar for Raised on Radio, the ninth album released under Columbia Records in May 1986.

Sixteen contestants were successful during the American Idol auditions held in Jacksonville, Florida yesterday. Among those lucky contenders are:

1. Joshua Ulloa

He had an impressive rendition of "Let's Get It On".

2. Sharon Wilbur somehow passed the four judges lofty standards.

3. Naomi Sykes, whose sweet voice and personality is appealing to the judges, made it through the next round.

4. Jasmine Murray

5. Ann Marie, whose stage presence needed a makeover, came back and sang really well that made Simon blush. She made it through.

6. T.K. Hash somehow made it through to Hollywood - but he needs MORE practice if he wants to make it through the next round.
