Morgan Freeman’s left hand is limp due to the 2008 accident. Right after the crash, Freeman had to go through a surgery for his broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage. Here is the latest on Freeman’s hand.

As Freeman is promoting his upcoming film “Prom Night In Mississippi” and has made several appearances, a number of his fans are asking the condition of the actor’s left hand.

Freeman had injuries in a car crash in 2008. Freeman told the press in February:

“I wound up with a lot of nerve damage in my arm, so the hand is still paralyzed. So until the nerves get down there…”

In a Canadian press interview on Prom Night done in November 2009, it was reported that Freeman was “reclining on a couch” and his “left hand was limp and swaddled in a tan glove due to injuries sustained in an August 2008 car crash.”
