According to CNN, Chris Henry, Cincinnati Bengals football player, died after a fall from the bed of a pickup. The accident occurred during a fight with his fiancée as reported by Charlotte-Mecklenbug Police: "Chris Henry died as a result of his injuries sustained during this incident. Department detectives continue to work diligently on this active investigation."
Chris Henry died at 6:36 a.m. ET Thursday after receiving fatal injuries last Wednesday just as Henry's fiancee attempted to drive off at the hype of a "domestic situation" and falling into the bed of the truck.
Henry was brought to the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, but his injuries were fatal enough for him to survive. Henry and fiancee planned to marry in March.
Henry played for Bengals for five seasons but was on the injured reserve right after the Nov 8 game against Baltimore Ravens where he got a dislocated forearm.
