Pen State Bowl Game 2010

The Penn State Football Capital One Bowl Game is scheduled on January 1, 2010 in Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, Orlando Florida at 1 pm EST. A team from LSU will be taken on by the Nittany Lions.

The Capital One Bowl game will be covered live on New Year's Day by ABC Sports.

The Penn State is on ranked # 13 in the BCS ( Bowl Championship Series) whereas LSU is at rank #12.

Director of Athletics Tim Curley said:

"We are very excited to be returning to the Capital One Bowl. Everyone from Penn State has had a fantastic experience during our previous trips to Orlando. We're thrilled about again playing in the Capital One Bowl and one more chance for our great fans to support this team. The hospitality extended to our squad and fans by the Capital One Bowl staff has been outstanding during our previous visits and we're looking forward to taking part in the many bowl events and the outstanding attractions in the Orlando area."
