With reference from Askmen.com, these are the top most dangerous jobs in U.S.A. If you are engaged in any of these industries listed below, brace yourselves as you may not be aware that you are just a step away from your graves.
Would you mind finding another occupation or would you hardly mind at all? Anyway, most men I know are driven like hunters. They like it more when their adrenalin rises. They are driven by pursuits and conquests. Are you one of them?I guess these jobs are not only hazardous among Americans but also to everyone who is strongly engaged in the following:
1. Surprisingly, 40% of the occupational deaths in the agricultural industry, are coming from the FARMERS or those who are working in crop production. This percentage particularly comes widely from livestock farmers and those engaged in the agricultural service sector. Does this have something to do with foot-and-mouth disease, bird flu, or anything of that sort?
2. MINING is second in the roll call. Those who are involved in coal or diamonds mining account for about 1/4 of the occupational deaths in the mining industry. On the other hand, those who are engaged in or gas/oil drilling account for over half of the deaths in the industry.
3. CONSTRUCTION WORK is third in the list of highly dangerous jobs. Considering the nature of construction work, risk of error is relatively high. Even if these workers aren't afraid of heights, they need to be extra careful.
4.Those who work as Timber cutter is also at risk of occupational deaths. Of course they have to use saws which is one major reason of the death of people involved in lumber industry.
5. Fishermen are also at risk as weather conditions can be unpredictable and deadly.
6. Truck driving is a strenuous and straining occupation. Truck drivers account for over half of the deaths in the transportation industry in each year.
7. Any service related jobs that involve the use of heavy equipment and machinery is also hazardous.Which do you think is the most hazardous and most stressing? Leave your comments below...
