The latest update on Tiger Woods scandal is that nightclub executive Rachel Uchitel canceled a press conference set at 11:30 AM PST. TMZ.com links the cancellation of the press conference to an alleged phone conversation between Rachel Uchitel and Tiger woods and his management staff last night.

TMZ suggests that a payoff was behind Rachel's silence to stop messing the already messed up reputation of Tiger.

On the other hand, Tiger's call may also have to do with the concern of sponsors like Nike and Cadillac, who are seeing the image of their alongside Tiger Woods scandal.

Rachel Uchitel is the first women connected to Tiger Woods affair rumors. After denying them, she was about to speak about it and clear her name perhaps.

However, Tiger wants the rumors to stop but that is already behind the world famous golfer's control.

Meanwhile, Jesper Parnevik, another well-known golfer who's known with his funny hats, is upset about having his former nanny, Elin, meet Tiger thinking that he was good for her. Jesper Parnevik says, "I'm kind of filled with sorrow for Elin since me and my wife are at fault for hooking her up with him," he said. "We thought he was a better guy than he is."

On the other hand, Tiger Woods and Elin are undergoing marriage counseling at the moment. Jesper Parnevik even feels partially responsible for Elin's marital woes. "I would probably have to apologize to her," Parenevik said, jokingly while referring to Nike's slogan that next time, Tiger should think "Maybe just don't do it."
