Time Warner Cable in the New York City area started receiving New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) programming on Channel 589. What is good about it is that NTDTV is available to all digital cable subscribers for no additional charges in places such as : Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, Mt Vernon, western-most Brooklyn and southeast Bergen County, NJ. To roughly estimate the number of subscribers NTDTV programs, it is pleased to have obtained 1.16M digital subscriber households who can now watch NTDTV programs 24/7.
As part of Time Warner Cable’s multi-cultural offering, NTDTV is alongside other Chinese channels. NTDTV is the only full-time Chinese channel that has noadditional monthly subscription, provided a subscriber household already has digital cable.
NTDTV has collaborated with Time Warner Cable since 2004, which is aired on Channel 32 in Southern Manhattan each night for 3 hours during prime time. The move to digital Channel 589 shows a marked expansion of the partnership.
Chinese residents in the New York City area are delighted with its availability. Since then NTDTV'scustomer service hotline received a record number of calls.
